    Hi All

VAT is recoverable Tax in Vietnam, but maybe it called "Goods and Services Tax" or "Consumptions Tax" in your country. It is indirect tax that product and services suppliers have to pay for their products. Normally, it is based on product and services rather than location, supplier or customer.

There are 3 main rates for VAT that the firms need to pay based on the kinds of your product or services, and it is 0%, 5% and 10%

This topic helps you to define VAT in Dynamics CRM solutions

Tkx @bsdinsight, so in your tax, I buy something with 100 $US, and VAT rate is 5%, and so I will pay for my supplier about 105 $US. In the case of business, they need to 2 Account IDs that capture 100 $US on Account Payable and 5 $US on VAT Tax - Is it correct?

Yes, it is correct, but it is call VAT IN, end of month you have to total tax deductible to be paid for GOV.
On Dynamics CRM you are selling products, end of month you have to total tax and submit to GOV and is call VAT OUT.

    Hope help you clearly.

Do you mean VAT IN for purchasing and VAT OUT for selling?
